MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING

January 10, 2007

Members of the Fondulac District Library Board of Trustees met in special session on Wednesday, January 10, 2007. President Herring called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m.

On roll call the following members were present: Mrs. Cole, Mr. Goff, Mrs. Herring and Mr. Lasswell. Also present were: Ms. Falasz-Peterson, Director, Miss McKeever, Assistant Director and Mrs. Geier, Administrative Assistant. Liz Livingston-Howard was also in attendance.

As part of our LSTA grant, Liz Livingston-Howard gave a presentation on fundraising. Ms. Livingston-Howard stated that she had been a fundraiser for many years. During this session she discussed fundraising as well as marketing. She stated that at the February 7, 2007 meeting the board can discuss what the board’s goals are for a fundraising campaign.

M/S/P (Goff/Lasswell) to accept the building project as submitted by PSA Dewberry.

M/S/P (Lasswell/Cole) to accept the contract with First Midstate.

Mr. Lasswell moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:12 p.m.
