If an item you need is owned by FDL but not on the shelf, you may request it be held for you when it is returned. This can be done in person or by phone (699-3917).
As of October 1, 2007, online holds are unavailable until early December due to a system upgrade.
Ask a librarian for help with any questions about our Web catalog.
HOW LONG ARE RESERVED ITEMS HELD?Items will be held for 2 days. If you are unable to pick up your item(s), please call the library.
HOW DO I GET A BOOK SENT HERE FROM ANOTHER LIBRARY?This free service is available to anyone with a valid Fondulac District Library card. Books and certain other materials such as magazine articles and audio books not owned by the library can be borrowed from another institution per patron request. The material may then be checked out by the patron for a specified time period.
A request may be placed in person at the Circulation Desk, by phone (699-3917), or online by using the InterLibrary Loan Request Form.
You can renew most materials you borrow 1 time, if no one else is waiting for the item. Videos & DVDs cannot be renewed. You may renew your items over the phone. Please have your library card in-hand.
