The Fondulac Library has partnered with the City of East Peoria on the East Peoria Downtown plan. The new library facility will be a vital part of the civic plaza and will share some space with a proposed City Hall. This exciting partnership allows the library to bring the community a new building and expanded services.
 
 

Cost to the Taxpayer:

 
  Through cooperation with the city and fiscal responsibility of the Library Board of Trustees, East Peoria residents approved a 7 million dollar bond referendum in April 2009. Since that time, we've been working with the city to design a fabulous new 32,000-square-foot building.
