Here and Gone is full of suspense and intrigue.  The story revolves around a mother trying run away from an abusive husband. Her troubles unfortunately only start there when she encounters corrupt police who arrest her and separate her from her children.

Nina George, author of The Little Paris Bookshop, takes us to France yet again in this charming novel. Marianne decides to finally change her life and leave her unhappy marriage of forty-one years.  She finds herself starting a new life in Brittany and perhaps new love.
