FDL Virtual Tour

FDL recently had beautiful HD and panoramic photos taken of its exterior and interior spaces, so it’s now possible to take a virtual tour of the library! The photos and virtual tour can be accessed from FDL’s Google profile, linked below and available on our website under “About FDL.”

Taking the virtual tour is a great way to get a feel for the library’s layout, resources, and services. Need to reserve a meeting space? Now you can view the conference room, study rooms, or Civic Complex to determine which space will meet your needs. Not sure where the Craft room is? Check out it’s location before you go to a program! Explore for yourself and discover just what our facility has to offer!

Study Room Project Update

Our new study rooms are ready for use this week! FDL now has four study rooms on the second floor: two adjoining rooms seating up to 6 people each (and can be combined), and two individual rooms seating 2 to 3 people each. Intended for quiet study, work, tutoring, and collaboration, the rooms can be reserved at the Information Desk or by calling 699-3917. Rooms are also available on a walk-in basis when not reserved. We hope you enjoy using the new spaces and appreciate your patience during construction!

Study Room Construction

We’re eagerly preparing for the construction phase of the Study Room Project to begin on Friday, November 2! We expect the building will be noisy during this time, but please bear with us as we make improvements to serve you better. Additional study rooms will be available soon! Patron services will continue with as little interruption as possible until the project is completed around the end of the year, and free ear plugs will be available at each department desk.
