Kids Comic Book Club (3rd Thursdays-5:00 p.m.)

If you’re a fan of comic books, come join the fun as we talk about a new book every month! Tell the group what you loved, what you hated, and if you would have done the same things as the characters. Every book club will have snacks, and end with a fun game. Ages 8-11. This group meets from September-May.

Who was…? What was…? Where was…? Book Club (2nd Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m.)

Enjoy reading the Who Was, Who Is or even What Is book series? Well, we are going to kick our reading up a notch by setting up a monthly battle between famous people, places and events. Stop by the Youth Services Department to pick up 1 or 2 book choices. Read it solo or with the family and then head back to the Library the second Wednesday of the month to perform hands-on activities, a trivia game and lively discussion of who, what or where is better than, well – who, what or where!
Registration is required. Please register each child separately. Register in person, online or by calling the Children’s Department at 699-3917 ext. 1291.

Adult Book Club (3rd Monday – 1:30 p.m.)

Fondulac District Library’s Adult Book Club meets at 1:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month in the library’s meeting room. The club is open to all area adults who are interested in reading fiction and non-fiction of all types. New members are always welcome, and copies of the club’s current selection are usually available at the library’s circulation desk. Club members work together in selecting titles for the group and in leading discussion.

Sit & Stitch (1st & 3rd Sundays – 2:00 p.m. & 2nd Wednesday – 2:00 p.m.)

Sit & Stitch with others at the library. Share ideas and skills while making new friends. Bring your own counted cross stitch, quilting, applique, knitting or crochet projects and supplies. This is not an instructor-led activity, but ideas and assistance can be shared among the participants. Come to socialize and craft in the Kolb Conference Room inside the library.  Please note, the club will not meet on Sundays during the summer as the library is closed on those days.

Adult Video Game Night (3rd Thursdays – 5:00 p.m.)

Adults ages 20+ are invited to play the library’s gaming systems upstairs.
