Are you fluent in cursive? Bilingual? Do you have an affinity for history and historical documents? Would you like to become a Volunteer Transcriber and learn how to transcribe important historical documents for the Library of Congress website? In this seminar, we’ll go over how to transcribe documents for the Library of Congress online. Documents range from hand written correspondence in cursive to typewritten documents.
This is a presentation-style seminar, so we won't have computers available for personal use, but feel free to bring in your own laptop to follow along.
