Dive into more than 80,000 digitized pages of East Peoria history from 1917-2013 in the online East Peoria Newspaper Archive. This digitized collection includes the library's entire microfilm collection of East Peoria's newspapers.
The microfilm collection remains available for viewing at the library. The library's microfilm allows patrons to view microfilm, but does not print. Due to irreplaceable value of the Local History Collection, use of microfilm is restricted. Patrons may use two items (or one microfilm roll) from the collection at one time. Access requires a photo ID or a library card which will be kept at the reference desk with the items’ card until the items are returned. When materials are requested, staff will retrieve them.

The East Peoria Times Courier digital newspaper archives (February 2008-October 2022) are accessible to any user on Fondulac District Library’s computers or 24/7 with an Internet-connected computer or device and your Fondulac District Library card number. Search from February 2008 to October 2022.
