I recommend this graphic nonfiction book because it’s packed with fascinating facts, colorful illustrations, and written with a quirky sense of humor. If you’re into caves and creepy creatures, this is the perfect read for you!
This book is bursting with mysterious and odd animals - many of which don’t even have eyes! When most people think of caves, they picture bats or hibernating bears, but this book reveals so much more. You’ll discover blind fish, unusual lizards, and all kinds of bizarre insects that call the darkness home.
You’ll also explore caves from around the world, each with its own unique features. One of the most amazing discoveries? A cave in Vietnam that’s so massive, it contains an entire rainforest inside.
One of my favorite parts of the book is the pronunciation guide. With all the new and unusual words that you’ll encounter, it’s super helpful and makes learning fun.
If you’re curious about the hidden, weird, and wonderful world underground, this book is a must read!
